Prince of Pop’s Doctor’s Office Searched by the Feds.
The circumstances surrounding the sudden, tragic death of Michael Jackson keep getting stranger and stranger. The Houston office of the doctor who was on the scene when the Prince of Pop died on June 25th was paid a visit by the feds today, who were executing a search warrant that had been issued “to seek evidence in an investigation into the offence of manslaughter”
Dr Conrad Murray has been a central figure of suspicion in the minds of many since Jackson was taken to UCLA Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police first spoke with the doctor, who has practices in Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as the clinic in Houston, immediately after the pop stars death. This was not unusual considering that the physician was one of the last people to see Jackson alive and had attempted to administer CPR until paramedics arrives at the rented Holmby Hills mansion where Jackson was living prior to a series of comeback concerts at London’s O2 arena.
Police in LA told press yesterday that they had requested further interviews with Dr Murray, and when asked about today’s search of the doctor’s Texas offices his lawyer and spokesperson Edward Chernoff said “We can confirm that a search warrant was executed today on Dr. Murray’s offices in Houston Texas. We reviewed the warrant and remained on the premises while the search was being executed. The search was conducted by members of the DEA, two Robbery-Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department and Houston Police officers. The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter. Law enforcement concluded their search around 12:30 p.m., and left with a forensic image of a business computer hard drive and 21 documents. None of the documents taken had previously been requested by law enforcement or the L.A. Coroner’s office.”
Although there are several other physicians being interviewed about their connections to Michael Jackson, today’s events do not seem to bode well for Dr Murray, especially since in order to obtain a search warrant authorities have to have substantial evidence that a crime has been committed.
Dr Murray is believed to have been on the Jackson payroll for about three years, the rumor being that Michael became enamored of the physician after he treated his daughter Paris on an emergency basis. Jackson had insisted that Murray be hired on to accompany him throughout his grueling preparations for his comeback tour, a prospect that did not sit well with the tour’s promoters, but apparently Jackson was adamant that Murray be hired.
At the moment Dr Murray is still working at his main office in Las Vegas and police have still yet to confirm he is a “suspect” in Jackson’s death in any way. Whatever the outcome this is a situation that will certainly have the world watching with bated breath.

“Prince of Pop” ???? That’s a new one. I have heard MJ referred to as the KING of pop, but never the “Prince”.
